After weeks of coupling up, dumpings and heads turning, ITV's Love Island will come to an end, and one of the Love Island couples will be crowned this year's winner.

The winning couple will decide whether they want to split the Love Island prize money of £50,000.

There's been lots of change this year, with Toby Aromolaran and Chloe Burrows now back together after he dumped her for Abi, who he then dumped for Mary.

Liam Reardon and Millie Court are also back on, and so are Faye and Teddy, so the competition is tight for this year's winning couple.

So, when is the Love Island 2021 final? And how will it work?

Here's everything you need to know about the final, and how you can get involved.

When is the Love Island 2021 final?

CONFIRMED: The Love Island final will take place on ITV2 on Monday, 23rd August at 9pm.

The show confirmed the 2021 final date in a tweet advertising a competition to win tickets to a final screening party on August 23rd.

The last episode usually shows the final days in the villa for the remaining four couples.

This often involves a Love Island prom where all contestants learn a dance routine (which they usually mess up), write some poetry or speeches, and get dolled up, before declaring their love for one another.

There will also be live footage directly from the villa in Mallorca, with Laura Whitmore presenting the whole thing (most likely with some classic Love Island songs thrown in).

Viewers will also get a chance to vote for their favourite couple via Love Island app ahead of the final.

It comes after the final dates on the show, which in the past has included fancy, yacht trips, a day at the Safari, and even a La La Land themed dinner date.

The live final then sees the show's host Laura Whitmore revealing which couple have come in fourth, third and second place before announcing our Love Island winners.

Who will be in the Love Island 2021 final?

It's way too early to say.

At the moment, Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish appear to be one of the strongest Love Island 2021 couples, but this is Love Island after all and anything can change...
